Objective of the tool/method
An enigma is a situation-problem. It can serve as a special support for stimulating thought and exchange of ideas. In the examples below, there is no given answer to the enigma. Each participant, on the basis of his/her proposal(s) holds a part of the truth in reference to their experience, values, hopes...
The situations proposed here are highly subject to controversy. The production of a response isn’t really important as such. However, the interest of these exercises lies in the development and application of skills (discussion, argumentation, negotiation) to develop a consensus.
